Kenting is readily accessible via Taiwan’s comprehensive and well-integrated transportation network. For international participants, the two primary international gateways are Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport (near Taipei) in northern Taiwan and Kaohsiung International Airport in southern Taiwan.
Kaohsiung International Airport offers the most convenient access to Kenting for many overseas travelers. From the airport, Kenting can be reached in approximately two hours by shuttle bus, private transfer, or rental car.
Participants arriving at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport may travel south by Taiwan High Speed Rail (HSR) to Zuoying Station, the southern terminal station of the HSR in Kaohsiung. From Zuoying Station, Kenting is accessible by shuttle bus or private transfer, with a travel time of approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.
For travelers within Asia, direct international flights to Kaohsiung are also available, making it an efficient and convenient point of entry to southern Taiwan.
